Projects
Work built in layers — across architecture, urbanism and research.
01 — Architecture
Residences, farmhouses and memorials
Buildings shaped by site, materiality and how people actually live in them.

Tu-Hi Ram Residence
The Tu-Hi Ram Residence is a private estate in Dehradun designed to harmonize domestic living with its natural context. The spatial layout prioritizes affordance and empathy, creating a sequence of contemporary Indian luxury spaces — from expansive double-height gathering areas to quiet, intimately scaled private rooms — all shaped by a deep understanding of local materiality.

Japani Estate
A farmhouse in Dehradun built around a small residence and a landscaped orchard, on an approximately 3,800 sqm site, designed to sit quietly within its context rather than dominate it.

Project Vivaan
A fully functioning net-zero residence designed and built as part of Team SHUNYA at IIT Bombay. The house placed second worldwide at the U.S. Solar Decathlon 2023, hosted by NREL in Colorado, combining passive design strategies with active control of lighting and water systems.

Memorial
Situated within the larger estate in Dehradun, the Memorial is a dedicated space for reflection and remembrance. The design strips away excess to focus on quiet architectural restraint, using contextual materiality, natural light, and careful spatial sequencing to create a serene, dignified environment that honors family legacy.
02 — Urbanism & Research
Mobility, climate and policy studies
Research into how infrastructure, land and governance shape everyday life — from Mumbai's stations to Kutch's coastline.

Mumbai Suburban Stations
Working as a Researcher for an IIT Bombay urban mobility project, evaluated the spatial usability of suburban railway stations across Mumbai. The study mapped the physical friction between infrastructure and daily commuter movement by analyzing three core dimensions: circulation bottlenecks across platforms and overbridges, transit legibility during complex transfers, and the overall spatial anatomy of the stations.

Kutch Spatial Vulnerability Assessment
As part of a regional environmental study, this project focused on spatial vulnerability mapping for the Kutch district. Using QGIS for advanced spatial analysis, the work involved processing census datasets, interpreting raster data, and visualizing land use and land cover. The resulting district vulnerability maps highlight the physical risks and environmental thresholds of the region, providing a data-driven foundation for disaster planning.

Kutch Disaster Governance
Submitted as postgraduate research to National Law University Delhi and WWF India, this project analyzed the legal and policy aspects of climate risk. The study focused on disaster governance and statutory frameworks, specifically critiquing district disaster management plans for the highly vulnerable Kutch region. It explores the critical gap between environmental policy mandates and actual on-ground resilience strategies.

Appropriating the Under-Space
This urban research project focused on documenting the complex, everyday activities occurring beneath flyovers and road-over-rail bridges (ROBs) across Mumbai. Rather than treating these areas as infrastructural voids, the study mapped the geography and spatial distribution of how these residual spaces are actually utilized by the city. A critical component of the research involved analyzing the tension between informal public use and formal governance, specifically examining how the state has appropriated, regulated, and managed the land beneath these massive elevated road networks.
03 — Sustainability Consulting
Green building certification
End-to-end certification management for large-scale and commercial projects.

Sustainability Consulting & Green Certifications
Our portfolio extends beyond spatial design into rigorous environmental consulting. For large-scale and commercial projects, we execute end-to-end certification management to meet global sustainability benchmarks. This includes developing detailed credit-tracking calculators, managing compliance documentation, and integrating passive thermal strategies to achieve top-tier ratings.
